About the role:
We're looking for a motivated, people-focused professional who enjoys building lasting relationships and helping others achieve their health goals. Success in this role requires empathy, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting members. Unlike a traditional customer service role, you'll manage your own portfolio of members, serving as a trusted partner who provides guidance, accountability, proactive outreach, and personalized support throughout their wellness journey.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage a Portfolio of Members: Build trusted, long-term relationships, provide ongoing accountability and coaching, and serve as each member's primary point of contact throughout their health journey.
- Welcome New Members: Conduct personalized welcome calls to set new members up for success, ensuring they feel supported and equipped to start their journey.
- Drive Member Engagement: Proactively reach out to members to celebrate progress, identify challenges early, and help them stay motivated throughout their journey.
- Be the Dedicated Point of Contact: Manage member inquiries across phone, email, and SMS with a high-touch account management approach that prioritizes long-term relationships over quick fixes.
- Help Members Stay on Track: Work with members to overcome challenges, reinforce the value of the program, and identify solutions that fit their goals and budget so they can continue progressing on their health journey.
- Provide Motivational Coaching: Offer practical lifestyle guidance and encouragement to help members navigate the ups and downs of their weight loss journey.
- Collaborate with the Team: Partner with the wider team to share insights and feedback, helping to refine our approach and improve the overall member experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with members.
- Empathetic, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented with a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals.
- Conscientious with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and working in a hybrid environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, account management, education, retention, or sales, preferably in a healthcare or wellness-related industry.
- Interest in social media, health education, or public speaking.
- Experience leading group coaching/educational sessions.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency and deliver an exceptional member experience.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience: 50 000$ - 55 000$ annually
- Successful performers in this role typically earn an additional 20%–50% of their base salary in commission.
