Gyrosa is Victoria's newest fresh Greek food concept. We are a modern take on traditional Greek street food. We place a large emphasis on customer service as well as focusing on taking care of our team members. We are a growing company with a fun culture looking to build team members up along with us. Wage starts at $19.50 an hour, plus tips, with an increase in pay after 1 month of a job well done.
Our team members receive a free meal while on shift. We also offer discounts on meals when not on shift.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is stored properly and at the correct temperature
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
