While our core work is advisory, we also manage a physical distribution center that stores and ships in-kind donations, emergency relief supplies, and program materials to partner organizations. We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator who shares our passion for service and can keep our logistics running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Receiving & Shipping
- Authenticate goods received and record shipments, noting any discrepancies in orders
- Coordinate receiving and dispatch of goods with transporters and suppliers in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders to packing slips and provide order information and pick-up status
- Forward packing slips to the Purchasing Team for processing in a timely manner
Inventory Management
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods and supplies
- Perform inventory of products received and put product away accurately
- Keep and maintain accurate records of all inventory and stock in the warehouse
- Act as inventory facilitator, including quarterly counts and timely updates of inventory listings
- Update inventory tracking systems with goods received
Warehouse Maintenance
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times
- File documents as requested, adhering to organizational filing standards and records retention policy
- Order cleaning supplies and toiletry items, and check supply areas weekly
- Monitor recycling and kitchen areas, stocking supplies as required
Vehicle & Equipment
- Deliver materials to job sites and partner organizations as required
- Pick up and drop off vehicles that require servicing
- Monitor and ensure all vehicles are maintained according to organizational standards regarding cleanliness and proper supplies
- Track and manage the tool inventory matrix for the location
Safety & Compliance
- Execute all work in accordance with provincial and local regulations, general best practices, and company health and safety policies
- Adhere to legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing
- Keep up to date and informed on all company policies
Team Collaboration
- Present a professional image of Charitable Impact Experts at all times in appearance and behaviour
- Communicate and work with other team members consistently to improve overall operations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a warehousing facility
- Experience with warehouse and inventory systems (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a charitable, nonprofit, or logistics environment (preferred)
- Strong ability to efficiently network and coordinate work with transporters and suppliers
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Good computer skills including proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good financial system proficiency with respect to purchase order entry, inventory tracking, goods received, and credits
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be a self-starter and work well with limited supervision
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Other Requirements
- Valid and clean driver's license is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Reside in or within commuting distance of Vancouver, BC
