NOW HIRING – Developmental Service Worker (DSW) / Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Private Home Care Position
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated support worker to provide one-on-one care to an adult with physical disabilities in a private home.
Position Details:
- Part-time: 2 days per week, with the potential for additional hours as the position grows.
- Pay: $25.00 per hour
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are not required, but are considered a strong asset for grocery shopping, appointments, community outings, and other activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Medication reminders and medication management
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Grocery shopping and community outings
- Accompanying to appointments and recreational activities
- Assisting with organization and everyday household tasks
- Providing compassionate, respectful support while encouraging independence whenever possible
Qualifications:
- A DSW, PSW, or related diploma is an asset but not required.
- Students currently enrolled in DSW, PSW, nursing, social work, or other related healthcare or human services programs are encouraged to apply.
- We also welcome applicants with relevant caregiving experience, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for helping others.
