Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Roofing Estimator & Project Manager at Marine Roofing located in Burnaby, BC. As a Roofing Estimator & Project Manager, you will be responsible for estimating roofing projects, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met, compliance with RCABC Roofing Practices Manual and WorkSafeBC requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in roofing estimation including project management
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certification in Construction Management, Project Management or Construction Estimating is a plus
- Able and comfortable to go up / climb on to roofs which some can be high
- Has had practical / site construction experience
- Valid driver's license
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be located in commutable distance to Burnaby, BC, Canada
Responsibilities
- Quantify scope of work from drawings and/or site conditions
- Estimate cost of work based on quantified scope and tender documents
- Prepare and submit cost proposal and/or complete tender documents
- Review contract documents
- Provide submittals as required
- Provide work orders and communicate scope of work with production team
- Procure and expedite materials
- Manage project to completion
- Provide project close out documentation as required
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
