Description and Responsibilities:
· To be accountable to and report to the program Director, and/or Executive Director.
· To provide a welcoming, trauma-informed, and consistent intake process for all clients accessing New Beginnings services.
· To ensure seamless navigation across agency programs and external community services.
· To oversee waitlist management and ensure timely follow-up with clients and referral sources.
· To monitor and report on intake trends, service demands, and gaps.
· To act as a role model to staff and clients of the organization.
· To ensure a thorough understanding of all agency programs and services.
· To be actively involved, supportive, and committed to the team approach of the agency.
· To promote and adhere to the vision, mission, and values of the organization.
· To adhere to the policy and procedures manual of the agency, ministries, and program standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Social Service Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related human services field is preferred; orBachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related discipline with significant relevant experience.
· Strong knowledge of youth justice, mental health, child welfare, education, and related community systems/sectors.
· Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in intake, assessment, referral, or clinical/social service delivery with at-risk youth and families.
· Demonstrated skills in crisis response, trauma-informed practice, and culturally safe engagement.
· Strong organizational and data management skills; experience with case management systems and reporting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Police Record Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Screening are required. Immunization record, medical clearance, a valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license, a clean Driver’s Abstract, and access to a vehicle are required.
· Will be expected to work irregular hours as required by client or program needs, which may include weekends and evenings.
Pay: $17.55-$30.60 per hour
