About the role
The Funding Administrator, will be an integral part of the Funding Operations team, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional service to our borrowers by way of instructing and closing mortgages in a timely and efficient manner.
Superior communication, attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills are essential for this position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Funding
- Accurately Instruct future deals as submitted by Credit Operations
- Ensure mortgages are advanced on scheduled closing dates
- Work closely with Credit Operations and Strive’s closing agent to ensure mortgage advance dates are accurate in the internal loan origination system as well as the mortgage closing portal
- Follow up with solicitors for RFF’s, Final Reports outstanding and all other documentation as required
- Provide payout statements and discharges to requesting parties within applicable time frames
- Provide documentation to third parties as required
- E-mail distribution
- Special projects as assigned by management
Confidentiality and Regulatory
- Maintain employee, customer and partner confidentiality as described by Strive’s Employee Code of Conduct Policy.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Residential Mortgage experience in a Servicing or Pre-Funding Capacity
- Advanced knowledge of mortgage products, terms and funding and servicing documentation
- Capacity to work in a team environment while also managing responsibilities independently
- Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit
- Previous mortgage funding experience is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
Employment Type
Full time with hours of operation being 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm EST (currently remote and in-person hybrid working environment).
