The People Operations Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support. The role is important in executing people initiatives, facilitating change, providing support to enable our employees to achieve their best and driving HR functional excellence. The role acts as a strategic advisor and trusted counsel to business leaders, translating organizational goals into people strategies that drive performance, culture, and growth.
What you will do?
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partnering business leaders
- Understand the business function’s goals, challenges, and financial drivers well enough to proactively identify people-related risks and opportunities
- Translate business strategy into workforce planning, organizational design, and talent priorities
- Play an active role in the design, implementation and maintenance of HR initiatives, that support organizational strategy
Talent Management
- Partner with leaders on succession planning, high-potential identification, and leadership development
- Guide performance management cycles, including calibration, promotion, and compensation discussions
- Identify skill gaps and partner with L&D to close them
- Support workforce planning and headcount forecasting aligned to business goals
Organizational Design & Change
- Advice on org structure, spans of control, and reporting relationships
- Lead or support restructuring, reorganizations, and M&A integration from a people perspective
- Act as a change agent during periods of transformation, ensuring communication and adoption
Employee Relations & Culture
- Coach managers on handling performance issues, conflict, and difficult conversations
- Investigating and resolving employee relations issues
- Monitor engagement data and partner with leaders to act on findings
- Champion Diversity and Inclusion programs for the Company.
- Manage employee leave of absence, disability cases and gradual returns to work
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use people analytics (turnover, engagement, performance distribution, DEI metrics) to inform recommendations
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership, not just reports
- Track the effectiveness of HR interventions against business KPIs
What will you bring?
- Education: University or college degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5+years of HR Experience, including 2+ years in a business-facing HRBP or Generalist role.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; high level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and judgment; strong attention to detail; ability to solve problems, prioritize, in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience using people data to build a business case and influence decisions
- Other: Required to obtain security clearance.
