Vinyl Decking Installer
Northern Exposure Decking Edmonton / Alberta
**Seasonal, Full-Time** (with off-season work available)
$18-$35/hr, based on experience, capability, and productivity
About the Role
We're a tight-knit crew looking for a vinyl decking installer who takes real pride in their work. This is hands-on waterproofing work at heights, finishing decks the right way and standing behind the result. The busiest stretch is the summer, so you'll need to be available for full-time hours through the season, but we've consistently had a good amount of work in the off-season too.
If you like working as part of a team, pushing each other to do quality work, and seeing how much you can get done in a day (with a pretty good view while you're at it), you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Install vinyl decking and membrane waterproofing systems to a clean, finished standard
- Work safely at heights on residential and/or commercial projects
- Drive the crew and gear to job sites in a company work vehicle
- Pull your weight on the team: show up, work hard, and take ownership of the finished job
What We're Looking For
- A clean driving record over the last 5 years and comfortable operating a commercial/company work vehicle
- 3 years of insurance history to ensure you can be cleared to drive a company vehicle.
- Comfortable working at heights
- Diligent, reliable, and genuinely takes pride in a job done right
- A team player who's motivated by good crew energy and getting strong production
- Available for full-time hours through the summer season (this is a seasonal role)
Tickets / Certifications (Required or an Asset)
- Fall Arrest
- CSTS (Construction Safety Training System)
- First Aid
- Valid driver's licence with a clean 5-year abstract (this is a must)
- History of insurance in your name for 3 years with no issues (this is a must)
- 3 years minimum construction experienced (This is a must)
Don't have all of these yet? Let us know what you've got. The right attitude goes a long way.
What We Offer
