Yen Bros. Food Service LTD is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. You’ll play a key role in delivering food service products across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, ensuring timely, safe, and courteous service to our valued customers
Schedule: Mon- Saturday Weekdays + 1 mandatory weekend shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of food service products to commercial clients via designated routes
- Load, unload, inspect, and deliver goods according to customer invoices
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit reports daily
- Communicate delivery expectations and updates to customers
- Collect payments when required
- Uphold road safety and company delivery standards at all times
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving commercial delivery vehicles (preferably 5-ton trucks)
- Clean driving abstract and valid commercial license
- Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada
- Available to work one weekend shift per week (Must)
- Strong knowledge of Vancouver, Island and surrounding areas, including ferry routes
- Proven ability to navigate narrow aisles, back alleys, and tight delivery zones
- Skilled in safe parking and maneuvering of large vehicles and respect road safety.
Additional Qualifications:
- Previous delivery experience preferred
- Familiarity with Lower Mainland roads and routes
- Experience with warehouse operations and material handling equipment (e.g., forklift)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- High school diploma or equivalent
