Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Junior Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Inspect vehicles and identify basic mechanical issues.
- Assist with brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust system repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to support troubleshooting efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Assist with moving vehicles and maintaining shop equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair progress.
Experience
- Enrollment in or completion of an Automotive Service Technician program.
- 6 months to 1 year of automotive repair or shop experience.
- Experience performing basic vehicle maintenance.
- Possession of own basic mechanic tools.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
