CPC Clinics, an established Calgary practice now in significant growth, is expanding its relationship services and hiring a specialist to lead work in couples therapy, clinical sex therapy, and divorce and separation support. Relationship enquiries are among the most consistent demand streams our advertising engine produces, and our move into a purpose built six room clinic in October 2026 gives this work the private, premium setting it deserves.

The Role
You will work with couples and individuals across the full arc of relationship life: strengthening relationships, repairing them after rupture or infidelity, addressing sexual health and intimacy concerns, and supporting clients through separation, divorce, and co parenting transitions. You will hold the clinical depth this work requires and the discretion its clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence based couples therapy using recognized frameworks such as EFT or the Gottman Method
- Provide clinical sex therapy addressing desire discrepancy, sexual dysfunction, intimacy after illness or trauma, and related concerns
- Support individuals and couples through separation and divorce, including grief, identity rebuilding, and co parenting communication
- Manage high conflict dynamics safely and ethically, including screening for intimate partner violence
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with College of Alberta Psychologists standards
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
- Registered Psychologist, Registered Provisional Psychologist, or equivalent Alberta registration in good standing
- Formal training in a recognized couples modality (EFT, Gottman Level 2 or higher, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience with sexual health presentations or active progress toward sex therapy certification
Assets
- AASECT certification or equivalent sex therapy credential
- Experience with separation, divorce, and family transition work
- Training in discernment counselling
- Experience serving LGBTQ+ couples and relationship structures with affirming, informed care
