On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation - Job Description:
This role involves working on a procurement system enhancement project. The Business Analyst will perform analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications related to the procurement system.
Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation - Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Support one or more highly complex business processes
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation - Mandatory Skills:
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience leading stakeholder discussions and facilitating working sessions
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Experience documenting user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies
- Banking or insurance industry experience
Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Banking experience of procurement processes/workflows
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
Business Analyst - Procurement System Implementation – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.
