Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewer and Water to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sewer installation and maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects with a focus on sewer systems, requiring strong technical knowledge and supervisory experience. Candidates should be familiar with construction management software and possess excellent blueprint reading skills to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans related to sewer systems
- Supervise and coordinate sewer installation activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6 for scheduling and project tracking
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist in construction estimating to ensure cost-effective operations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution
- Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, schematics, and local codes
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues related to sewer installation or maintenance tasks
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in construction projects, specifically within sewer or utility systems
- Strong background in construction management.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Experience in quality control practices within the construction industry
- Familiarity with budgeting procedures for large-scale projects
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and standards
- Prior experience in managing teams or subcontractors on complex projects is preferred

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
