About the Role
Lear Construction is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the delivery of multi-familiy construction projects across Alberta and British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience from the BC Market who is looking to grow into a Project Manager position within a high-performing team.
You will play a key role in coordinating project execution, supporting field and office teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout
- Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, consultants, and trade partners to maintain strong communication and alignment
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with project cost tracking, budgeting, and change management processes
- Utilize systems such as Spectrum, FieldWire, and Bluebeam for documentation and project coordination
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and support issue resolution
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and maintain organized project records
- Support estimating and pre-construction efforts as required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working for a General Contractor within multi-family or commercial/institutional construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
- Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders is considered a strong asset
- Proficiency with construction software (Spectrum, FieldWire, Bluebeam or similar)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Self-starter with a desire to grow into a Project Management role

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
