Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life. The ideal candidate will provide guidance, support, and supervision within a community setting, fostering independence and well-being for those served. Duties
- Provide one-on-one support , assisting with daily activities and personal development.
- Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed to promote independence.
- Facilitate group activities and community integration efforts to encourage social engagement.
- Supervise and participate individual during various activities, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines.
- Collaborate with other professionals, families, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages growth, respect, and dignity for all clients.
Requirements
- Prior inclusive community support experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic community setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in planning.
- Valid driver’s license is required with sufficient insurance.
- Valid Police Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid First Aid an asset.
- Must be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.
Pay: $21.54-$26.93 per hour
