About the Opportunity
We are a well-established, family-owned Canadian distributor of industrial machinery, recognized as a leader in its sector for delivering an exceptional customer experience. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Account Representative to service existing customers and develop new business within an assigned territory covering British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

What You'll Do
Sales Prospecting
- Prospect your assigned sales territory, generating quality leads and accurately identifying prospective customers' needs
- Use a proactive, structured approach to maximize productive sales calls each day
- Act as a company ambassador, communicating product information and responding to inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with Sales Administrators and Product Specialists to develop accurate customer proposals and quotes
- Present quotes to customers and follow up on status in a timely manner
- Respond to website and telephone inquiries or leads within one business day
- Close sales orders to meet assigned sales targets
Account Management
- Service existing customers in your territory, maintaining strong relationships aligned with company service standards
- Act as a trusted resource to customers, maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant product lines
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating as appropriate
Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the company's CRM system
- Log appointments, calls, emails, and tasks on a timely basis
- Track opportunities through to sale and keep contact information current
What You Bring
- Minimum three (3) years' experience as an outside Account Representative
- Knowledge of the metal fabrication industry, including lasers, welding, and related equipment
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft CRM an asset
- Highly organized with strong accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- A proactive approach combined with exceptional follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, energetic, and self-motivated demeanour
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and anticipate customer needs
- Ability to travel to customer sites and attend trade shows
Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
