About the Role
Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism (CCCT) is seeking a creative and digitally fluent Digital Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This is an opportunity to shape the digital voice of one of British Columbia's most extraordinary regions — a landscape spanning the Fraser Plateau, the chilcotin grasslands, and the wild Pacific coast.
You will be responsible for bringing our destination to life across social media and digital channels, managing day-to-day content creation and community engagement while supporting the broader marketing team with research and ideas. This role suits someone who is self-directed, genuinely curious, and excited about storytelling through digital media.
Key Responsibilities
– Create and schedule content for TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Gander
– Manage daily stories, posts, and platform updates across all channels
– Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and brand-consistent manner
– Write compelling copy that reflects the voice and values of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast
– Capture original digital imagery — photo and video — in community and at tourism operator locations throughout the region
– Edit photos, video clips, and other digital assets for use across platforms
– Maintain and update the organization's digital asset management (DAM) system
– Support the marketing team with research, trend monitoring, and content ideas
– Assist in campaign planning, content calendars, and reporting as needed
What We're Looking For

– Comfort and confidence using digital tools including Canva, Microsoft Office 365, and CRM platforms
– Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of how each one works
– Strong written communication skills — clear, engaging, and adaptable in tone
– Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
– A connection to, or genuine interest in learning about, the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region
– A collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and take initiative
