Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
Our client, a manufacturer of custom extruded vinyl window profiles, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair in-plant production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Diagnose and repair motors, pumps, and electrical components
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Maintain parts inventory and service logs
- Fabricate basic fixtures and assist with equipment movement
- Order parts and supplies as needed
Requirements
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and follow safety standards
- Comfortable working at heights (EWP is an asset)
- Proficient with hand tools and testing devices
Assets
- Experience with air compressors, chillers, HVAC, or welding
- Millwright background or PVC extrusion knowledge
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Experience:
- electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic: 1 year (preferred)
- Maintenance Technician: 3 years (preferred)
