Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled contractors and versatile General Tradesman specializing in Carpentry, Painting, and Renovation projects across Southern Ontario. Our projects involve executing a variety of construction and restoration tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects that require precision, efficiency, and a talented approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and custom woodwork using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct residential, commercial, and industrial painting using appropriate techniques for each environment
- Onsite evaluation and scope management for new projects and leads
- Execute restoration projects with attention to detail, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality
- Apply caulking, sealing, and other finishing techniques to improve durability and appearance of surfaces
- Operate rigging equipment safely for lifting and positioning materials or fixtures
- Prepare surfaces for painting or carpentry work by cleaning, sanding, or priming as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within scheduled deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction trades including carpentry, painting (residential, comm1ercial, industrial), tiling, carpeting, or any related projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, area measurement, bathroom/kitchen renovations, and restoration methods
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with cabinet and tiling preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including residential homes and large-scale industrial sites

Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour
