Rolling Green Fairways is a BUSY 18-hole golf course, with an 80-site RV park, restaurant and banquet facilities for 20-300 people, as well as provides a substantial amount of off-site catering.
Rolling Green Fairways is now looking for a full-time cook to join our team, for the 2026 season, with a strong emphasis in line cooking, as well as strength and knowledge in homestyle cooking, for large groups, ahead of an extremely busy golf, wedding & event season.
Hourly wage will be based on experience, the ability to organize and MULTI-TASK and take initiative, present well, be clean & sanitary, and reliable. Flexibility during our busy golf and banquet season is preferred as we are client based, schedules can often change.
Line cooking ... the ability to prep for each day, based on regular menu items and rotating daily specials, as well as execute dishes consistently. The ability to call the orders, delegate what is needed and ability to work on multiple orders at one time is imperative. Strong communication skills with the rest of the team is required.
Banquet Cooking & Catering ... requires a lot of repetitive kitchen prep, ability to manage time effectively, and present each dish the same. Familiarity with good old fashioned "home cooking" is preferred.
Preference will be given to any individual who has had experience in managing a kitchen, food ordering and inventory control, and experience in banquets & catering, understanding the crucial attention to detail.
Menu creation and new ideas are always welcome.
Room to grow into a kitchen management position for the right person.
Knowledge and Certificate of proper Food Handling, as well as execution of such is necessary. The ability to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules is imperative, as well as proper dating & rotation of product etc...
Salary to commensurate with experience, to also include gratuities & more.
