The Business Inn and Suites is a privately owned 170 unit hotel, conveniently located in downtown Ottawa.
We offer a regular schedule and guarantee 5 x 8 hour shifts = 40+ hours per week (Day 7:30am-3:30pm and/or Evening 3:30pm-11:30pm), all year round.
We offer a free benefits package after 1 months of full-time employment: we cover 80% of prescriptions up to $1,000. per year and 80% of dental/vision up to $1,000. per year, and offer a CAA membership with the option of both life and critical illness insurance.

Job Duties :
· Consistently demonstrate a commitment to personalized guest service excellence.
· Assist with co-ordination and monitoring of Housekeeping and Maintenance department team activities.
· Monitor and assist with 3rd party website bookings and updating inventory levels.
· Compile (and report on) competitive market occupancy and rate information.
· Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction during all phases of the guest experience including prompt response to inquiries/requests, and smooth and efficient reservation/arrival/departure processing.
· Know all procedures for emergency/safety response.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
Skills & Qualifications
· Multi-faceted information technology and/or computer knowledge.
- Excellent customer service; pleasant, courteous, empathetic, prompt, professional.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills; in-person, email, telephone.
· Demonstrate organization and multi-tasking ability.
· Knowledge of points of interest and activities in Ottawa and the downtown area in particular.
· Able to work in a team environment
· Previous hotel experience preferred.
· French language skills/ Bilingualism preferred.
