Position Title: Business Analyst – Personalization Lead - DXP
Status: Full-Time Administration
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Information Technology Services
Campus/Location: North Campus – must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of four (4) days on-site.
Minimum Starting Salary: $95,579; starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.*

About the Business Analyst - Personalization Lead - DXP Role:
Under the general direction of the Product Owner, Digital Experience Platform (DXP), the Business Analyst, Personalization Lead is responsible for executing and advancing personalization practices across Humber’s web properties, ensuring digital experiences are tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences and support desired user journeys.
Working as part of the DXP team, you will identify and define opportunities to enhance web experiences through targeted personalization and data-driven insights. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of personalization initiatives, including campaigns and experiments (A/B testing), ensuring delivered experiences are relevant, effective, and aligned with strategic goals.
Acting as a bridge between strategic needs and digital execution, you will collaborate with departments to understand objectives, evaluate existing user journeys, and translate insights into actionable personalization approaches. You will monitor and analyze the performance of personalized experiences, using experimentation and data to support continuous improvement of user engagement.
Ultimately, you are accountable for contributing to the evolution of Humber’s web experiences by enabling more relevant, tailored interactions that improve user experience and support measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Humber to understand objectives and support user journey definition, identifying opportunities to tailor. and adapt content for different audiences.
Define and refine audience segments based on user behaviour, data insights, and institutional priorities.
Define and design experiments, including A/B testing and segmentation strategies, to evaluate and improve web experiences.
Lead web personalization and tailoring initiatives, ensuring delivered content is relevant and aligned with the needs of target audiences.
Configure and manage personalization tools and platforms to support the delivery of campaigns and experiments.
Collaborate with analytics and technical teams to ensure accurate data collection, tracking, and measurement of personalization initiatives.
Analyze and interpret experimentation results, using insights to refine and optimize personalization approaches and campaigns.
Provide data-driven guidance to stakeholders, helping them understand performance insights and apply them to improve digital experiences.
Identify and recommend new personalization opportunities based on performance insights and emerging needs.
Ensure personalization approaches align with institutional standards, accessibility requirements, and content governance practices.
Ensure consistency and quality of personalization approaches across web properties, aligning with established patterns and best practices.
Document personalization approaches, experiments, and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Digital Experience team.

Education
A three-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
Experience/Skills
A minimum of five years of experience in business analysis, digital experience, or related roles within complex, enterprise environments.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, content, design, and technical teams, to deliver and refine digital experiences.
Familiarity with digital experience platforms and content management systems, including experience with Drupal, Acquia Site Factory, or similar technologies.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with product, content, design, and technical teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences, including leadership.
Experience operating within a product management model, supporting iterative delivery, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
