Standard Auto Wreckers, Northumberland County's largest automotive recycler, is continuing to grow and we are looking to add a motivated and experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to our team.
Whether you are an apprentice, licensed 310S technician, or an experienced mechanic, we want to hear from you.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain the company fleet of delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform scheduled maintenance and properly document completed work
- Maintain and repair shop equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and golf carts
- Assist with additional shop duties as required
- Accurately document repairs, maintenance, and time spent on all equipment and fleet vehicles
- Order required parts, fluids, and shop supplies
- Communicate effectively with the shipping department and management team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands - on automotive experience
- Valid 310S Automotive Technician License is considered a strong asset
- Apprentices with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Must possess and maintain the necessary tools required for the position
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
