Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Community Services department as a Public Art Registrar. Reporting to the Visual Arts Coordinator, this position will ensure that artworks remain safe, stable, and accessible through planning, maintenance, and oversight
across their full life cycle.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Arts and Cultural Management with two years of related experience is required.

Certificate in Heritage or Museum Conservation, Engineering, Project Management or Architectural Training is an asset.

Practical experience with a mixed art collection and public art is preferred.Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
Hours of Work

Benefit from flexible work hours by adjusting your start and end times by 30 or 60 minutes around our core hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We offer a compressed bi-weekly work schedule of 18 hours, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:00 – 5:00.
Compensation

The salary ranges from $32.13 - $38.87 per hour, including a comprehensive benefits package with a flexible spending account, pension plan, and accrued paid vacation starting at 1.5 weeks per year.
