As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, ensuring efficient staffing within long-term care and nursing home facilities and communities. Your responsibilities encompass:
· Shift Management: Skillfully plan and oversee shifts for Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, and Personal Support Workers, dietary aids, and other professionals in LTC, nursing homes and communities while ensuring optimal coverage.
· On-Call Coordination: Manage on-call shift requirements from LTCs and nursing homes and communities, updating staff availability promptly to meet facility needs.
· Communication Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
· After-Hours Availability: Be available to respond to after-hour phone calls and address emergent staffing issues.
· Technical Proficiency: Possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and exhibit strong computer skills to navigate scheduling software efficiently.
· Reporting: Prepare daily and add-on reports for senior managers to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
