CTOMS™ is a fast-growing company specializing in tactical, medical, and rescue training along with equipment sales. We primarily serve the defense and security industry but are rapidly expanding into mainstream and international markets.
We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team in South Edmonton. Key Responsibilities
- Review and update website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Develop custom website features and pages within Shopify.
- Create and schedule marketing emails and online campaigns, including promotions and sales.
- Organize marketing assets and distribute materials to resellers and clients.
- Conduct SEO research and implement optimization strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials, graphics, and other marketing assets.
- Support CTOMS’ social media growth by creating content, engaging with influencers, monitoring trends, and managing community interactions.
- Assist with the coordination of tradeshows, seminars, and industry events.
- Support product development and product launch initiatives.
- Assist with user account management and sales data review for the CTOMS Academy platform.
Tools You’ll Use
You will work with Shopify, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Centre, and Meta Business Suite on a regular basis. Experience with Wix or Squarespace is also highly relevant.

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, web development, design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with content management systems (especially Shopify).
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Solid general computer skills and comfort learning new platforms quickly.
- Experience with web development, graphic design, motion graphics/animation, or video editing is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Back-end development skills are an asset.
- Proficiency in French or Japanese is an asset.
