General Labourer – Metal Finishing Shop
Pro-Pipe Service and Sales Ltd. is seeking a full-time General Labourer to join our metal finishing and production team.
This is a hands-on shop position that supports daily production, coating, plating, material handling, cleaning, preparation, and general shop operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, physically capable, and willing to learn.
Experience in a shop, manufacturing, oilfield, coating, or metal finishing environment is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general labour duties in the metal finishing shop
- Help prepare metal parts and pipe for coating or plating
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials
- Assist operators and technicians on production lines
- Clean, mask, handle, and inspect parts as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and shop instructions
- Assist with packaging, staging, and shipping/receiving as needed
- Support rework, clean-up, and general shop tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shop lead or management
Qualifications
- Previous shop, labour, manufacturing, or oilfield experience is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and work in a shop environment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new tasks and support different areas of production
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is an asset

Schedule
- 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
- Overtime may be required based on production demands
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
