We are working with our client, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Conveyancer to join our client's long-established legal team. The ideal candidate will oversee property transfer processes, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with legal standards.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert guidance on conveyancing matters and supporting the firm’s commitment to exceptional service delivery that manages Personal Injury, General Litigation, Business Law, Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Estate Litigation.
Duties
- Manage the end-to-end conveyancing process for residential and commercial property transactions
- Prepare, review, and execute legal documents related to property transfers, contracts, and title searches
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through complex legal procedures with clarity and professionalism
- Conduct analysis of property titles, planning documents, and legal records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain organized filing systems for all case files, documents, and correspondence
- Draft legal documents including contracts, affidavits, and notices with precision and clarity
- Collaborate with solicitors, clients, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of all conveyancing activities in accordance with regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in conveyancing or legal administration, with a strong understanding of property law
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
- Comfortable with eConveyance, ProSuite, myLTSA and BC Online
- Strong analysis skills to interpret legal documents and identify potential issues
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Proficiency in legal drafting, writing skills, and administrative tasks such as filing and record keeping
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience with legal software or case management systems is preferred
- Formal education or certification in law or conveyancing is advantageous
