JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Host creates a welcoming first impression and helps provide an enjoyable dining experience for Tigh-Na-Mara guests.
This guest-facing role welcomes and seats guests, manages reservations and table availability, and works closely with Servers and other Food & Beverage Team Members to support smooth and efficient service throughout Cedars Restaurant and Lounge.
The Host responds to guest inquiries, helps coordinate the flow of the dining room, and ensures the entrance, host area, and guest-facing spaces are organized, prepared, and maintained to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, seating, and table availability to support a smooth and organized flow of service.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide information about the restaurant and resort as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and telephone calls.
- Communicate closely with Servers and other Food & Beverage Team Members to support efficient service and guest needs.
- Ensure the entrance, host area, menus, and guest-facing spaces are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional guest service.
- Able to remain organized and attentive while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
COMPENSATION
$18.25 per hour + gratuities
