Safetech Scaffold Ltd. is currently seeking skilled/first year scaffold apprentices. We have a great team of people working within a safety conscious environment all over the Lower Mainland (and occasionally other places within the province as well). This is a great opportunity to grow knowledge of the trades while furthering a successful career through teamwork and problem solving! Job Duties:
- Assist scaffold crews in erecting and dismantling of scaffold
- Assist in tracking of on-site scaffolding materials
- Assist with maintaining an organized job site
Job Requirements:
- Value teamwork
- Punctual, reliable, and a "self-starter"
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Able to work efficiently and maintain an organized method
- Demonstrate practical problem-solving ability
- Must have CSA approved steel toe boots and a hard hat
Job Qualifications:
- Scaffolding experience required (minimum 1 year)
- Confidently use hand/power tools safely (an asset)
- Fall protection certification (an asset, training can be provided)
- First Aid certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license (an asset)
