Manage overall programs from receipt of order to steady state production, “cradle to grave”. Act as the principal contact during program implementation. Be responsible for directing and supporting the APQP team in process design, costing, negotiations and implementation. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response to requests. Ensure improvement through value add/value engineering opportunities. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Leadership, mentoring and supervision to PDP team members to ensure successful Program Launches at Co-Ex-Tec.

Play an active role in PDP Phase 0/1 New Program Quotes to ensure the optimal business case for Customer and Co-Ex-Tec. Provide detailed and thorough information to the Quoting Team for any changes from initial Program Award forward.

Perform formal / informal risk review and develop risk management strategies to minimize program exposure.

Recommend resource requirements and allocation for specific program needs.

Responsible for coordinating and leading resources at Co-Ex-Tec to ensure successful program implementation, with regular meetings and maintaining a clear, defined plan that will meet or surpass customer, company and financial targets identified in PDP Phase 1.

Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements.

Facilitate activities wherever required to ensure APAP tasks are completed correctly, on time, with supporting documentation for timely phase sign-off.

Present APQP and Launch Readiness updates to management / group level on a monthly basis (or as required).

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines and open issue list /task trackers.

Respond appropriately to customer and internal requests, in a timely manner.

Lead Cross functional team to ensure product design development aligns with the planned tooling, manufacturing and process development for the Program application, with consideration to cost and customer quality expectations.

Provide Expertise and support to Purchasing, Tooling, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering in defining technical requirements for vendor selection in support of achieving defined program targets and customer expectations.

Coordinate pre-production builds and ramp up builds to meet customer part delivery expectations.

Lead continuous improvement activities as directed to reduce costs.

Collaborate with the cooperation of other Co-Ex-Tec departments and Corporate to achieve and maintain the highest possible customer satisfaction rating.

Follow all department standardized work instructions/procedures.

Attend authorized training to develop and/or maintain relevant job-related knowledge, techniques, skills, and/or certification.

REQUIREMENTS:

Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering or related field preferred or strong technical background

Minimum 5 years’ related experience, preferably in the automotive industry as Program Manager

Injection Molding and production operational experience
Compensation Range: $100,000- 130,000
