Niagara Print Express is a fast-growing print, signage, and promotional products company based in Pelham, serving businesses across Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland, Thorold, Fort Erie, and beyond. We handle everything from business cards and flyers to large-format signage, vehicle wraps, and trade show displays — with design, production coordination, and installation under one roof.
The Role
This is a two-hat position for someone who loves design but also enjoys working directly with clients. You'll split your time between hands-on graphic design work and making sure every client request gets understood, handled, and delivered.
Design side (roughly 60%):
- Prepare print-ready artwork for business cards, flyers, banners, signs, decals, and promotional products
- Fix and correct customer-supplied files (bleeds, resolution, colour modes)
- Create proofs and manage proof approvals with customers
- Design social media graphics and product visuals following NPE brand guidelines
- Work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (or Affinity/Corel equivalents)
Client coordination side (roughly 40%):
- Talk to customers by phone and email to understand exactly what they need
- Turn client requests into clear job briefs — sizes, materials, quantities, deadlines
- Get the job done yourself or hand it to the right team member and follow it through to completion
- Keep clients updated from order to delivery so nothing falls through the cracks
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of graphic design experience (print experience strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of print production basics: bleed, CMYK, resolution, file formats
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple jobs at once
- Clear, friendly communicator — you'll talk to customers daily
- Self-starter who doesn't need constant direction
- Bonus: experience with signage or large-format printing, or working in a print shop
