The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
Department / Research Program: Quebec Antimicrobial Resistance Network
The Quebec Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Network is a collaborative initiative that aims to strengthen interdisciplinary research, knowledge sharing, and partnerships related to antimicrobial resistance across Quebec. Reporting to the Network leadership team, the Coordinator will support the day-to-day coordination and administration of network activities, communications, meetings, and collaborative initiatives.
General Duties
- Support the coordination and implementation of activities related to the network.
- Assist with planning and organizing meetings, workshops, seminars, networking events, and scientific activities.
- Coordinate communications.
- Maintain mailing lists, membership records, and internal databases.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of progress reports and other documentation.
- Support collaborative research and networking initiatives across institutions and disciplines.
- Help track project timelines, deliverables, and activity metrics.
- Assist with financial tracking, including invoices, reimbursements, and budget monitoring.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Education / Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Science or related field
Work Experience: One (1) to two (2) years
Required Skills
- This position requires an advanced knowledge of oral and written French.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
- Previous experience in project coordination or in a research, academic, healthcare, or network environment is considered an asset.

Status : Temporary Occasional
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and work expérience.
Work Shift: Other or part-time
Work Site: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Blvd.
- This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote).
