Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative skills in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and maintaining phone etiquette
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry with accuracy, maintaining organized records and filing systems
- Handle front desk duties including checking in patients or clients, verifying information, and updating records
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Support administrative functions such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and preparing reports
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area at all times
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and support other clerical tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous office experience preferred, especially in medical or dental settings such as dental receptionist or medical office experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping is advantageous
- Strong computer skills including data entry, filing, and document proofreading
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Clerical experience including handling multi-line phone systems, front desk management, and administrative support is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Pay: $17.60 per hour
