The Administrative Assistant, under the general direction of the Resident Administrator, shall be responsible for
customer service, comprehensive filing systems, financial processing, and community communications.
Requirements/Competencies
· Grade 12 diploma required.
· Public engagement: primary point of contact for in-person, phone, and electronic communications.
· Municipal Administration: facility rentals, licensing, permits and cash receipts & deposits
· Computer skills: operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level
· Information Management: maintain municipal records, property files, meeting minutes
· Office Operations: General office administration, supply procurement, mail distribution and administrative support for staff, other departments and community groups
