Our office is seeking a motivated and organized Secretary to act as the first point of contact for new clients in addition to providing administrative support for all staff members.

General Duties

Prepare the office each morning

Effieciently answer and direct phone inquiries

Greet clients/suppliers/visitors in a professional and friendly manner

Management of appointments

Prepare various documents as required

Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier shipments

File and Maintain organization of physical records

Check and maintain office supplies

Provide administrative support for all staff members

Education

High School Diploma

Post secondary education in business, or office management

Legal Assistant / Administrative Assistant program is an asset

Required Skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including:
Word

Excel

Outlook

Efficient task prioritization

Minimum Typing Speed of 50WPM

Experience with multi-tasking in a dynamic environment

Experience

1-3 years experience in a professional office setting is an asset

Applications from Practicum students will also be accepted for review.

Training

Training will be provided for the selected candidate.
