We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Teachers to join our team and create a fun, engaging, and educational environment for children during the summer months. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, games, and crafts that promote learning and social skills
- Provide tutoring support to children in various subjects as needed, ensuring personalized attention and encouragement
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all campers
- Supervise children during outdoor activities, meals, and free play to ensure safety and engagement
- Collaborate with other staff members to organize daily schedules and special events
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and behavior when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of activity areas and ensure all materials are used responsibly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is highly preferred
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children of various ages
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing a safe experience for all campers
- Previous experience in summer camps or childcare settings is advantageous
