Residential Cleaning Specialist
Reports To: Operations Manager / Cleaning Supervisor
Position Summary
The Residential Cleaning Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional housekeeping and detailed cleaning services to high-end residential properties. This role goes beyond standard cleaning by providing meticulous attention to detail, protecting valuable furnishings and finishes, and creating an immaculate living environment that consistently exceeds client expectations.
Successful candidates demonstrate professionalism, discretion, reliability, and pride in their work while treating every home with the highest level of care and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, detailed, and deep cleaning of luxury residences according to company standards.
- Dust and clean all surfaces using appropriate techniques for delicate, specialty, and high-end finishes.
- Vacuum and mop floors using methods suitable for hardwood, natural stone, marble, tile, luxury vinyl, and specialty flooring.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchens, including premium appliances, countertops, cabinetry, backsplashes, sinks, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring fixtures, glass, mirrors, tile, and grout remain spotless.
- Make beds and refresh bedrooms using hotel-quality presentation standards when requested.
- Clean interior windows, mirrors, glass railings, and decorative glass without streaks or residue.
- Remove fingerprints, dust, and smudges from doors, trim, light switches, hardware, and high-touch areas.
- Empty waste and recycling while maintaining cleanliness around receptacles.
- Complete rotational deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
Care of Client Property
- Handle valuable furnishings, artwork, antiques, décor, electronics, and personal belongings with exceptional care.
- Use only approved cleaning products and methods appropriate for each surface and material.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and finishes while cleaning.
- Immediately report accidental damage, maintenance concerns, or unusual observations to management.
- Never move valuable items unnecessarily or without proper authorization.
Client Experience
- Deliver a consistently exceptional level of service during every visit.

- Arrive on time in clean company attire with all required equipment and supplies.

- Follow all health, safety, and security procedures.
- Properly secure homes upon departure, including doors, windows, alarms, and keys according to company protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain knowledge of luxury cleaning techniques and products.
Qualifications
- Previous residential or luxury residential cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience working in executive homes, estates, boutique hospitality, or luxury housekeeping is considered an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing flawless results.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently while maintaining company quality standards.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs (14 kg) regularly.
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Work safely with approved cleaning products and equipment.
