Job Summary
We are seeking a Pizza Cook to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various oven types, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food handling practices
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products meet health regulations
- Serve customers at the counter or via takeout orders with friendly and efficient service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
