We're looking for a talented CG Rigger to develop high-quality rigs for characters, props, and environments that support the artistic and technical needs of our productions.
Purpose: Why you’re here at Brown Bag Films
To rig allocated characters, props and environments for the designated show, in line with the workflow and pipeline needs and to a consistent style and the quality level required.
Delivery: What you produce
Character, prop and set rigs
Rigging Tools.
Measurements: How we measure it
Completion of tasks within agreed schedule.
Handling of revisions and tweaks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, creating, testing and maintaining character set ups.
Collaborating with animators to design motion controls.
Creating secondary dynamics systems to aid animation.
Providing technical feedback to modelling department to ensure topology meets deformation requirements.
Working with production management to prioritize tasks.
Troubleshooting problems with rigs in production.
Performing technical checks and quality control on overseas and in-house assets.
Ensuring outsource partner has clear direction on BBF rigging requirements.
Key Requirements
Working knowledge of CG pipeline and animation environment.
Working as a Rigger (or similar position) in either broadcast or feature film work. With asset tracking systems (e.g. shotgun) (desirable).
Understands the core skills of rigging in Maya & is able to operate in the environment.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
