We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead new product development programs from quotation through production launch while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing automotive programs, coordinating engineering and manufacturing activities, overseeing tooling and equipment development, and ensuring successful product launches.
The ideal candidate has strong automotive manufacturing experience, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project Management
- Manage new product development programs from concept, quotation, and development through production launch.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, schedules, and launch requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones and customer expectations.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks, and communicate status updates to customers and management.
- Coordinate engineering changes (ECNs) and maintain accurate program documentation.
Customer & Engineering Support
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams throughout program development and launch.
- Support product design reviews, manufacturing feasibility studies, prototype builds, and production readiness activities.
- Support new product quotations, tooling requirements, and cost estimates.
- Maintain BOMs, engineering records, and project documentation.
Quality & Manufacturing Support
- Lead APQP activities and support PPAP submissions.
- Coordinate tooling, moulds, fixtures, and equipment requirements.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive suppliers preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- APQP
- PPAP
- FMEA
- Control Plans
- Engineering Change Management (ECN)
- IATF 16949 requirements
- Experience with ERP systems and BOM management is an asset.
- Experience with blow molding, injection molding, plastics, or automotive assembly processes is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
