Operations / Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations / Maintenance Manager to lead preventive maintenance, service delivery, vendor coordination, and building operations across multiple residential sites. This role is responsible for keeping properties safe, efficient, well maintained, and ready to provide excellent resident service.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead preventive maintenance planning, seasonal service schedules, inspections, and compliance programs for building systems and common areas.
· Oversee suite turnover readiness, service ticket performance, and emergency response protocols to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance service.
· Coordinate vendors and contractors, manage recurring services, monitor costs, and maintain competitive standards for external work.
· Drive energy efficiency, inventory control, warranty tracking, and accurate maintenance records across sites.
· Use Rent Manager to assign and monitor work orders, track trends, generate reports, and support KPI reporting to leadership.
What You Bring
· Strong experience in building maintenance, operations, or property management leadership.
· Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, safety compliance, and preventive maintenance programs.
· Experience leading teams, mentoring technicians, and maintaining high service standards with residents and contractors.
· Comfort using maintenance software such as Rent Manager and producing operational reports.
