Job Overview:
As a Shipping/Warehouse Associate at our telecommunications service provider, you will be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring that critical telecom equipment—including modems, routers, fiber optic cables, set-top boxes, network switches, servers, access points, and customer premises equipment—is accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped to technicians and customers.
Responsibilities:
Shipping Operations:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders of telecom hardware, including modems, routers, set-top boxes, fiber optic cables, connectors, power supplies, and accessories.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to protect sensitive electronic equipment during transit, including anti-static materials and cushioning.
- Stage completed orders for technician pickup, customer will-call, or carrier shipment.
Order Picking:
- Accurately pick telecom equipment from warehouse shelves, bins, and pallet racking based on pick tickets, work orders, or technician requests.
- Select products including modems, routers, switches, fiber optic cables, connectors, power supplies, and mounting hardware.
Order Packing:
- Pack orders securely using appropriate anti-static materials to protect sensitive electronics during transit.
- Use bubble wrap, foam inserts, anti-static bags, and sturdy boxes to prevent damage.
- Include all necessary accessories, cables, power supplies, and documentation with each order.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying orders.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Pay: $21.80-$25.78 per hour
