Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team to work on transport trucks, farm equipment and other various heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a shop environment and possess a strong understanding of automotive repair and bodywork. This role involves repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. The Auto Body Technician will work with various tools and equipment to perform repairs efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall quality of our service.
Duties
- Repair and refinish vehicle bodies, frames, and panels using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move parts or vehicles safely within the shop
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices during all repair procedures
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Willing to learn new skills, teachable
- Able to work on a variety of different tasks - sandblasting, sanding, disassembling and assembling, bodywork, painting, welding, fabricating
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
