Duties

- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and lifestyle needs, ensuring personalized service.
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, styling for special occasions, and chemical treatments.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, offering professional advice, and creating a positive salon experience.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments that enhance client results and satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education to deliver innovative styles.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining focus on client needs.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic retail sales skills to promote salon products and services confidently.
- Prior experience working at the front desk or handling appointment bookings is preferred but not required.
- Fully licensed - 1+ year Experience preferred
