Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform professional massage therapy techniques tailored to client requirements, including Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care
- Ability to listen actively and tailor treatments to individual needs
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
Pay: $63.00 per hour
