Overview
The Vitamin Shop is seeking a part-time Cashier available to work Saturdays and Sundays at our location in downtown Victoria on Broad Street.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently.
Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail merchandising techniques
- Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
This position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and contributing to a dynamic retail environment.
No experience or knowledge of vitamins and supplements is required but of course it's a plus!
