Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled AZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- $500 safety incentive every quarter (if no accidents or safety infractions)
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license AZ license is required.
- 1.5 years of experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
