Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our landscape yard team. This role involves assisting with the daily operations of the yard, including handling bulk materials such as mulch, soil, gravel, and stone, as well as providing excellent customer service to both team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload bulk materials (mulch, topsoil, sand, gravel, etc.) using shovels, wheelbarrows, or equipment
- Assist customers by directing them to products and helping load purchases
- Maintain yard cleanliness and organization (sweeping, stacking, debris removal)
- Bag materials and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
- Support inventory management and restocking of materials
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Perform general maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous labour or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, working outdoors in various weather conditions)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience operating equipment is an asset (training may be provided)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to get back and forth to work
- Experience in operating equipment such as skid steers or loaders an asset but not required
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Physically demanding environment

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
